Accounts Recievable Accountant

Salary: $60,000 - 65,000/yearWe are seeking a skilled AR Accountant with experience in CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable management, proficiency in financial software systems, and the ability to ensure accurate and timely CAM reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable processes, including billing, collections, and cash applications.
• Conduct CAM reconciliations for commercial properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with lease agreements.
• Collaborate with property managers and tenants to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes related to CAM charges.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including AR aging analysis, bad debt reserves, and CAM reconciliation summaries.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes related to AR and CAM expenses.
• Review lease agreements and update CAM charges as necessary based on contractual terms.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide support during financial audits.

Responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in the real estate industry.
• Experience with CAM reconciliation and understanding of CAM billing methodologies.
• Proficiency in financial software systems, such as Yardi, MRI, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
