Accounts Receivable Specialist

Due to our continued expansion and growth, we now have an opportunity for a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to be responsible for performing accounts receivable duties to make sure payments are being processed in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Application of Customer Payments received via Lockbox, EFTs, credit cards and mail; distribution of Daily Cash Receipts to various offices
• Ability to process high volume Customer Payments
• Reconcile Daily Cash Receipts to Bank entries
• Research entries posted to Unapplied Cash 
• Respond to Cash Receipt inquiries from our various offices. Strong communication skills essential
• Make sure all cash receipts are in balance with Bank Ledger entries at month-end
• Assist

Work Schedule

• Shift 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday
• Position requires you to be available to work in an office setting, this is not a remote opportunity

Requirements

• AA degree or Accounting experience required
• 3 to 4+ years of cash application experience required
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Work Skills  
• Knowledge of MS Dynamics not required but helpful 
• Ability to work in a team environment 
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Time Management and Organizational Skills
