Job DetailsJob Location: North Stonington CT - North Stonington, CT 06359Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 2 Year DegreeSalary Range: $60,000.00 - $62,000.00Travel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayJob Category: AccountingPosition Summary: The Accounts Receivable Associate will perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts receivable transactions.

Role and Responsibilities:

Regular attendance at assigned location that may include office or other project sites
Preparation and distribution of monthly billing worksheets to Project Managers for Review
Processing of monthly requisitions and/or invoices in Timberline accounting system
Print and obtain signatures on monthly requisitions and invoices
Distribute requisition and invoice packages and invoices
Research and respond to Customer billing inquiries
Scan and archive requisitions and invoices into Smart Search System
Assist with the coverage of reception desk as needed
Additional duties as directed by AR/AP Manager
QualificationsEssential Skills & Characteristics: 

Ability to work independently or as part of a team 
Follow plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers
Ability to communicate fluently in the English language
Maintain clean desk policy 
Interact with all co-workers and clients in an attentive courteous manner
At times may perform clerical/administrative duties

Educational & Experience Requirements: 

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, preferred
Timberline, Sage 300, or other accounting software experience
Fundamental understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
