Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Management:
- Enter vendor invoices into QuickBooks.
- Apply payments to corresponding invoices in QuickBooks accurately.
- Vendor Payments:
- Pay vendor invoices using the firm’s credit card and bank accounts.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
- Employee Reimbursements:
- Review, process, and pay employee reimbursement requests.
- Office Supply Purchases:
- Review and approve office supply requests, making purchases as needed.
- Trust Refunds & Paralegal Check Requests:
- Enter and print checks for trust refunds and paralegal check requests.
- 1099 Process:
- Maintain and complete the 1099 process, ensuring compliance with legal and tax regulations.
- Unclaimed Property Filing:
- Gather necessary information and process unclaimed property filings.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with various departments.
- Familiarity with legal trust accounting, preferred.
- Experience with 1099 and unclaimed property filings, preferred.
- Understanding of law firm operations and vendor management, preferred.

Work Environment:
- Full-time position with standard office hours; occasional overtime may be required during peak billing periods.
- On-site attendance required.
