Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description

Fabletics Inc. is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist.

How Do You Fit In?

The Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist responsibility will consist of processing a high volume of invoices, coding, and reconciling to ensure invoices are paid on time. The AP Specialist with assist closing and audit activities.

This position will report to the Sr. Manager, Accounts Payable.

What You Will Do:

• Review all incoming invoices for appropriate documentation prior to processing invoices in Oracle Accounting system.
• Work with large volume vendors that require daily and/or weekly vendor communication.
• Ensure all accounts payable invoices have proper approval and/or approved purchase order(s)
• Request Bi-weekly statements from all vendors and reconcile to assure accounts are in good standing
• Validate incoming invoice and match to open purchase orders
• Perform timely and accurate coding of invoices to the general ledger accounts and departments
• Managing the inflow of invoices and build trustworthy & reliable relationships with vendors and internal business partners (via email, mail, and system invoice flow)
• Reconciling vendor statements 
• Assist in End of Month invoice reclasses
• Assist with year-end audit
• Assist with special projects to support the finance team

What You Can Bring:

• 3+ years of accounting payable or general accounting experience
• High degree of accuracy and attention detail
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excel in a fast-paced environment and able to work independently
• Experience with AP Software (DMS) and financial accounting software (Oracle.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. vlookup, pivot tables, etc.)

The hourly range for this position is from $26.68-30.85. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate’s related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
