Summary/Objective

This position is responsible for performing various duties associated with all company supported accounting and operational software systems.

Essential Functions

  • Maintains thorough knowledge of all company supported accounting and operational software systems.
  • Coordinates and supports Team Members and departments, as needed, to effectively administer all accounting and operational systems.
  • Serves as a point of contact for incoming requests from Team Members to correct any issues with accounting and operational systems.
  • Develops training content and other documents to be used in acquisition integrations.
  • Implements, consults and trains new Team Members on accounting and operational systems.
  • Performs projects and other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Licensure

  • 1-2 years of experience in administering accounting or operational systems preferably in a Funeral Home and Cemetery business.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally.
  • Proficient use of applicable technology.
  • Ability to travel 25 – 75%.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Bilingual is a plus.
  • Industry and HMIS experience strongly desired.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for understanding system-based processing and controls.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team player.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization.
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access and Power Point) required.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

  • Employees in this role are regularly required to climb, sit, stand, bend, kneel, and frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
  • This position may also require reaching, pushing, and pulling.
