Accounting Representative

The Accounting Representative deals directly with the vendors/customers of ODW Logistics as well as dealing directly with executives and account managers regarding payment for services rendered. The Accounting Representative also assists the Accounting Manager in maintaining all daily and monthly processing requirements for assigned business units including accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and other duties as assigned.

 1.     Ensures all vendor invoices are coded to the correct GL accounts.

2.     Processes accounts payable for corporate business units.

3.     Processes vendor payments

4.     Ensures that all vendor inquiries are handled efficiently and to the vendor's satisfaction.

5.     Reconciles vendor statements on a recurring basis

6.     Processes payroll for assigned entities.

7.     Applies cash receipts for assigned companies.

8.     Prepares and distribute daily cash reports.

9.     Assists with accounts receivable collections.

10. Completes filing in a timely, effective manner.

11. Communicates with executive team and account managers through phone, email and verbal communication.

12. Other duties as assigned.

 

Education and Experience

·       High School graduate or equivalent (Required).

·       1 -3 years in a similar accounting field.

·       1- 5 years with listed accountabilities.

·       Proficient with Windows based general ledger systems.

·       Warehouse Management System experience (Preferred).

·       Microsoft Office Applications, data entry and internet experience.
