About the Position
Based in Chicago, IL and the Accounting Manager will report to the VP of Finance. The successful applicant will oversee accounting and finance for their assigned region(s). HUB offers great advancement opportunities, great culture, and the flexibility of a hybrid work environment.

Provide service and support to the business so that they have all the financial information that need to make informed decisions
Continuously improve our workflows and procedures to optimize results
The primary responsibilities include:
Oversee all aspects of the general ledger, including analysis, reconciliation and journal entries
Manage the internal financial reporting process to facilitate timely and accurate reporting
Supervise and develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training and maintaining strong employee relationships
Proactively determine the information needs of business leaders and provide it on a quality, accurate and timely basis
Coordinate with our operations and executive management teams for accounting and finance related inquires
Prepare and present financial reports for senior management, providing actionable insights
Oversee internal control environment and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Research, identify, and communicate key variances relating to financial and operational metrics
Participate in annual budget process and monthly financial forecasts, analyzing historical data and projecting future performance
Manage any current and future mergers and acquisitions from a financial standpoint
Recommend and implement procedural change to improve workflows and increase efficiencies
Coordinate with corporate finance and accounting to ensure we are compliant with all corporate requirements and requests
Various other assignments, as required.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field
Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience required
Advanced MS Excel skills
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.
Strong management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Oracle and Hyperion
CPA preferred
