Who You Are:

As an Accounting Manager at Curaleaf, you will play a vital role in leading financial operations for a fast-growing, publicly traded industry leader. This impactful position focuses on ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving innovative process improvements that support Curaleaf's continued growth. We’re seeking a self-starter who takes initiative, identifies opportunities for improvement, and leads with confidence.

What You’ll Do: 

• Lead and streamline daily accounting operations, overseeing journal entries for cash management, fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, and intercompany transactions to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency
• Reconcile accounts and bank statements while analyzing general ledger and fixed asset activities
• Lead and support internal and external audits while ensuring SOX compliance and alignment with public company reporting standards
• Collaborate with the accounts receivable and accounts payable teams to proactively resolve customer and vendor management issues
• Prepare, review, and analyze internal financial reports to provide stakeholders with valuable insights that drive informed business decisions and support strategic growth
• Lead technical accounting projects and develop policies that strengthen internal controls and support scalable business growth
• Inspire, mentor, and lead the accounting team while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on growth and excellence

What You’ll Bring: 

• You bring 7+ years of accounting experience with expertise in general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial analysis
• You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• You have extensive knowledge of accounting practices, ideally within a publicly traded company or similar dynamic environment
• You have advanced Excel skills (including V-lookups, pivot tables, and complex formulas), proficiency with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics), and a strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance
• You bring strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of thriving in fast-paced, team-driven environments
