That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?

This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided. Individuals with temporary visas or who need sponsorship now or in the future are not eligible for hire at this time. 

We are seeking highly skilled Accounting / Accounting Operations intern. The Accounting Operations group consists of different Accounting groups - Accounts Payable, Cash Balancing, Payroll, Procurement, and more!

In short, as an Accounting Intern you will:

• Gain a well-rounded view of how all of the Accounting Operations teams function
• Building new reports to streamline processes for AP/AR/Cash Balancing
• Enter and approve payable summaries
• Identify newly created vendors and their total spend
• Ensure vendors are being create properly and following DriveTime protocols for contracts
• Improve existing process to create efficiencies and ensure accurate data

• A mind for the details.  Okay we know “detail-oriented” is on about every job description – but we really mean it!

• Organization and time management skills in spades.  You’ll be handling multiple projects and deadlines that will require you to prioritize then re-prioritize… then… re-prioritize again.

The Specifics.

• You are currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s with a graduation date of December 2025 – May 2026
• bachelor’s degree in business or master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accountancy, etc..
• You have a GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Accounting experience/knowledge a must
• Knowledge of MS Excel (Macros), SQL experience a plus
• Our internship program will be 11 weeks starting May 2025 to August 2025
• Accounting Internships will be based out of our Home Office in Tempe, AZ
• You can expect a regular on-site schedule Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
• Relocation not provided for internship
