Job Summary

Langan is seeking an Accounting intern to join its collaborative team in Parsippany, NJ. This individual will serve a key function in assisting with accounting services. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience working on Accounting projects for an engineering consulting firm.

Job Responsibilities

  • Process all appropriate journal entries;
  • Support monthly closes and financial reporting;
  • Assist the Accounts Payable team with vendor invoices, check request runs and accounts payable checks;
  • Assist Expense Coordinator in reviewing and approving employee expense reports submitted through expense system; and
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

 

  • Actively pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field;
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong level of proficiency in Excel;
  • Possess strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;
  • Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work in a team environment; and
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
