Opportunity

🔍 Your Role: Accounting Intern

As an Accounting Intern, you'll thrive in our dynamic environment while honing your skills. From compiling journal entries to mastering reconciliations, you'll contribute to our finance team's essential functions. This is your chance to take part in exciting projects and learn from experienced professionals.

►   Key Areas of Responsibility

• Monthly close responsibilities including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, preparation of schedules, etc.
• Assists with special finance/accounting projects as required.
• Ensures compliance with internal policies, procedures and internal controls in accordance with the Sarbanes- Oxley Act 2002 Section 404.

Qualifications

►   Key Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in accounting.
• Completed Intermediate Accounting I course with a "B" or higher grade
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Strong communication skills
• Independent and collaborative work style
• Organizational and time management prowess
• Candidates must be located within commuting distance of our Little Rock office

🗓️ Internship Details:

• Start Date: October 2023
• Duration: Through March 2024
• Schedule: Hybrid model (Office-Little Rock, AR and Remote)
• Weekly Commitment: 25-30 hours
