We’re looking for an Accounting Intern to join our team at our Plano, TX headquarters. This in-person internship runs from May 19, 2025, to August 22, 2025, with an expected commitment of 30 hours per week at a rate of $20.00 USD per hour. What You Will Be Doing?
- Performing daily processing of customer invoices and vendor bills.
- Generating A/R & A/P aging reports and identifying key areas of risk to escalate to management.
- Assisting in reconciling cash and credit card accounts.
- Keeping customer records up to date by obtaining records from customers and tracking them in the appropriate place.
- Assisting the team with audit requests as needed.
- Reviewing & monitoring shared e-mail boxes to ensure completion of ad-hoc requests.
- Performing accounting-related tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
What You Will Bring?
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and efficient data processing and tracking.
- Demonstrated problem-solving & critical thinking skills.
- Experience with MS Office Suite with a high level of proficiency in Excel.
- Must be an effective communicator.
- Being a self-starter who is motivated to drive process improvement.
- Must be comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times.
