Accounting Analyst

Responsible for the financial, administrative and clerical support by ensuring the company receives payments for policies, and properly records the transactions by posting and reconciling receipts, processing refunds and finance agreements, and resolving discrepancies according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.
Your Impact:
- Obtain daily cash transactions from online banking site; post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and electronic (wire and ACH) transactions and entering them into the accounting software
- Work with Account Managers to identify payments and application of payments; Identify and resolve any discrepancies before applying funds
- Gather and scan appropriate supporting documentation and attach support in EPIC accounting system
- Reconcile weekly agency commission revenue and transfer funds from trust account to operating account; retrieve, post, and reconcile Direct Bill Commissions
- Process credit AppliedPay payments and apply funds to appropriate accounts; Perform monthly bank reconciliations for selected bank accounts
Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Able to communicate clearly & professionally with Account Managers regarding the client account receivable and billing; high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in MS Office well versed in Excel and Word
- Able to work independently; self-starter, professional and assertive

At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $55,000.00 - $60,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
