Accounting Analyst, Intermediate - Accounts Receivable

SRNL is seeking an Accounting Analyst to provide integrated support to the Accounts Receivable function and interfaces with Contracts and other accounting functions. Serves as the subject matter expert for funding documents, billings, and collections related to the Strategic Partnerships Program (SPP) projects.

• Process funding packages for federal and non-federal agencies related to SPP projects.
• Monitor budget ceilings and allotments and provide guidance to customers.
• Create and issue all monthly AR/SPP invoices within first two weeks of each month.
• Respond to customer requests concerning funding and invoice billing/payment.
• Handle the collection and processing of receipts and prepare entries generated for the ledger and DOE reporting.
• Prepare unique reporting required by DOE for non-collection issues.
• Identify and conduct processes to continuously improve financial procedures, analysis, and reporting systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance+ 4-6 years relevant experience
• For ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, US Citizenship is legally required
• Requires proficiency in applying accounting principles, policies, procedures, and knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• A basic knowledge and understanding of personal computers utilizing any of several generally accepted software applications to perform word processing, database management, spreadsheet, and graphic functions.

• Experience with Oracle software
