We are looking for an Accountant to join our dynamic, fast-paced Financial Statutory Accounting Services team. This position will be located in Houston TX.
The Accountant will prepare financial reports and perform general accounting to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and other related financial activities.
As an Accountant, you will focus on these responsibilities:
- Performs general accounting and other related duties in the accounting department in SAP.
- Prepares periodic (monthly) balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements in Oracle HFM.
- Maintains the general ledger for US entities.
- Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.
- Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
- Reconciles customer accounts and manages accounts receivable collections.
- Verifies payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
- Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
- Files required compliance forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
- As appropriate, coordinates with the software vendor to maintain the accounting software system; recommends updates to enhance the accounting software.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Attending different stakeholders with different levels of experience and background
Information Management:
- SAP experience
- MS Office
- Power BI
- HFM and QlikView would be a plus
