About this Job

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in expanding NielsenIQ’s (NIQ) footprint within the media agency space. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with media agencies, developing and executing a strategic sales plan to increase revenue through NIQ Data-as-a-Service solutions. Leveraging your media experience, this role will be responsible for driving & developing client relationships, optimize client investments, and help agencies utilize NIQ’s data to improve audience targeting, planning and campaign measurement.

The ideal candidate will be determined, self-motivate with media agency experience—ideally in programmatic trading, data onboarding, or media buying - and is eager to bring that operational knowledge into a client-facing, revenue-generating role. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your hands-on industry experience while learning the consultative sales process from senior sellers and growing into a full-cycle sales executive.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for prospecting, networking, and developing new business opportunities with media agencies

  • Evangelize NIQ data assets with media agencies to drive pipeline on custom and syndicated audiences.

  • Leverage your media agency background to understand client needs and contribute to strategic recommendations

  • Participate in client discovery conversations and help tailor NIQ solutions to agency use cases

  • Generating sales leads and maintaining a pipeline of sales opportunities across a portfolio of clients consistent with NIQ’s growth strategy.

  • Assist with the development of sales materials, proposals, and client-facing presentations

  • Help maintain a clean and organized sales pipeline through CRM tools and regular reporting

  • Act as a liaison between sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure strong delivery and client satisfaction

  • Build fluency in NIQ’s data, tools, and measurement offerings and how they map to the agency planning and buying workflow

  • Stay current with industry trends in digital media, programmatic buying, and data activation

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience working at a media agency in a programmatic trader, data onboarder, or media buying role

  • Strong understanding of media planning and buying processes, audience data, and digital ad operations

  • Interest in transitioning into a client-facing sales or business development role

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a consultative approach

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Experience using DSPs, onboarding platforms, or audience tools is a strong plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce is a plus

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field

US Benefits

  • Comprehensive healthcare plan (medical, Rx, dental and vision).
  • Flexible spending accounts and Health Savings Account (including company contributions).
  • Life and AD&D insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan including company matching contributions.
  • Disability insurance.
  • Tuition Reimbursement.
  • Discretionary paid time off program and 11 paid holidays.
