Your Opportunity: Precision Press Inc., a division of Taylor Corporation, is seeking an Account Manager who is responsible for providing the customer with positive, consultative, and service-based experience. In this role, you will act as the project manager liaison between the customer and manufacturing facility, to ensure projects are delivered on time to customer expectations while maintaining internal profitability goals.
Your Schedule:
- Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm
- This role will be onsite located at 2020 Lookout Drive, North Mankato, MN 56003
Your Responsibilities:
- Gathering and understanding job specific requirements from the customer and/or sales representative to accurately enter jobs into production
- Communicating production schedules and updates to the customer, proactively managing production milestone dates, and tracking production status to ensure orders ship on time
- Coordinate with internal subject matter experts to resolve issues to ensure customer expectations are met
- Providing sales support, including product, pricing, schedule, capacity, and production related requests
- Managing multiple accounts, programs/projects/tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Documenting and maintaining account specific standard operating procedures
- Leading regular scheduled meetings with the customer to discuss the status of current orders, quality, and forecast opportunities
- Identifying areas to streamline processes and reduce opportunities for error to support continuous improvement efforts
- Building and maintaining strong relationships based upon credibility, communication and trust
- Facilitating internal and external project kick off meetings and post project reviews
- Preparing customer presentations, gathering performance metric data, and presenting in customer business review meetings
- Partnering with and mentoring less experienced team members
- May direct and lead the work of others
- Ensure proper on-time billing and reporting updates to the customer
