What You’ll Do

· Demonstrated experience with strategic partnering and competitive proposals.

· Proven ability to hunt for prospective "real" leads with ability to "close" new business.

· Ability to quickly learn landscape enhancement merchandise and product effectiveness.

· Ensure that a continuous program of sales research and market analysis is maintained.

· Maintain and develop customer relations at all levels and keep senior management informed.

· Ensures that all activities are carried out in compliance with local, state and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.

What We’re Looking For

· Turf Industry and/or commercial equipment sales experience may be substituted and/or combined with education. 

· Organization and communication skills must be highly developed. 

· Computer skills need to be broad based.

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. 

· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 

· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

· A valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record is required, paired with the ability to pull a trailer, operate, and load equipment.  Some overnight travel will be required.
