We’re looking for an Account Associate to join our Employee Benefits Team!
This position would be responsible for IOA Employee Benefits team Account Associate activities while under direction of a Producer, AE, AM or EB Operations Team Leader, including: Client service and communication; directing daily tasks and work activities of Account Coordinators; team productivity, quality, and service levels; implementation of client insurance policy administrative processes, tracking, renewals, new policy set-up, audit and contract review, and policy review; data management/entry; Producer, AE, AM or Operations Team Leader communication; team and individual professional development; identification of sales opportunities; IOA core values.
Employee Benefits Account Associate essential functions include:
- Under direction of a Producer, AE, AM or EB Team Leader assists in the management of an assigned book of business, meeting all performance requirements regarding production, quality, and service, and ensuring that no liability associated with errors and omissions occur
- Delivers outstanding client service at all times, including proactively anticipating client needs, maintaining frequent and professional client communication, and responding quickly to any service requests
- Directs day-to-day activities and work flow of Account Coordinator(s), including making work assignments, delegating tasks, communicating performance expectations, monitoring execution to ensure performance requirements are met, and recommending corrective actions when needed
- Actively seeks to grow IOA business, including identifying and acting on sales opportunities
- Tracks policy expirations for existing clients, and works proactively to ensure appropriate actions are taken to facilitate renewals
- Demonstrates ability and internal motivation to learn, grow, and continuously improve
Qualified candidates will have:
- 2+ years of Employee Benefits experience
- Active Life & Health License
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Outstanding verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to perform large work volumes with high degrees of accuracy
- PC proficiency, including MS Office
- Exceptional personal character, including a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to assist others at all times
