We are looking for engineers who want to see their ideas and innovations become the products that define the next generation of computing. Successful candidates will have experience developing software for hardware platforms and be familiar with all aspects of the software development process from backend development to integration and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of software developers to build code that runs the world’s quantum infrastructure
- Work to develop all aspects of the Maybell codebase with a focus on reliability and quality
- Develop system architectures and testing infrastructure
- Work with other teams to translate product requirement inputs into high quality software output
- Support internal customers with automation and testing tools
- Develop internal software processes and tools to streamline the software development process
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in software engineering or related field
- 10+ years of working experience in software development
- Experience leading software development teams, with a proven understanding of the software development process and how to implement it
- Experience writing software for hardware systems
- Proficient in Python, JavaScript, and at least one compiled language - Rust/C/C++/Java; aptitude and desire to quickly learn embedded Rust.
- Ability to learn new tools and concepts quickly and make use of them
- Ability to serve in and oversee employees in DevOps, DevSecOps, and Cloud Ops roles.
- Team player with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt and perform in a fast paced and dynamic organization.
- Familiarity with developing and deploying software for Linux
Desired Qualifications
- UI/UX design experience.
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Basic knowledge of frontend and GUI development with typescript and React
Base salary $150,000/yr - $200,000/yr + Bonus + Equity
