THE JOB:

THE STARTING RATE: $14.02 plus tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Communicate with Restaurant Reservations regarding special requests and ensure all information is passed to management while maintaining knowledge of daily activities, house counts, and table setups.
Greet guests promptly upon arrival and manage phone calls, keeping an accurate count of reservations and handling the reservation book.
Ensure menus are current, properly inserted, and in good condition; replace any that are worn.
Relay guest needs and feedback to the kitchen and management, assisting to ensure smooth operations and quality service.
Check on guests waiting to be seated to assure them they haven't been forgotten; maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and manage closing procedures.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be willing to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
2 years of experience in a restaurant as a host is preferred.
Ability to engage guests and create a positive first impression while addressing concerns promptly.
