Adjunct Clinical Lecturer - NUR 905 (Advanced Practice Leadership Immersion) - Fall 2025 - School of Nursing (Hybrid)

Description

The UM-Flint School of Nursing has an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer opening for the fall 2025 semester (beginning August 25, 2025), teaching NUR 905 (Advanced Practice Leadership Immersion). This is a 2-credit theory course.  The class will be delivered as an online asynchronous course with some need for synchronous meetings.

Course description: This course will deliver the application and integration of theories, principles and practices in nursing leadership, management, and care delivery systems into practice settings. Application of evidenced-based practice to agency-specific project.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

1. Doctorate Degree

2. Past history of 3-5 years as a Nurse Executive Leader in a large medical center

3. Board Certification as a Nurse Executive Leader

4. Unencumbered RN Michigan license or eligibility for

Desired Qualifications:

1. Prefer Doctoral degree in Nursing Administration, Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership, or Master of Business Administration 

2. Prefer greater than 5 years director or manager experience

3. Prior experience teaching online
