As an Operations Scientist 2, you’ll leverage your technical expertise to troubleshoot, analyze, and improve processes related to our cutting-edge products. You’ll collaborate across functions, tackle investigations, and contribute to the science behind healthier lives—while paving your path toward scientific leadership.
Key Outcomes:
- Act as a technical subject matter expert on Hologic diagnostic assays, instrumentation, and processes.
- Lead and support laboratory and nonconformance investigations, corrective/preventative actions, and product trend evaluations.
- Prepare and deliver technical documents, including study designs, protocols, and reports.
- Apply root cause analysis and statistical methods to draw actionable conclusions from complex data.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Assess technical risks and impacts for products and customers, under moderate guidance.
- Lead and participate in technical projects and cross-functional initiatives to minimize supply disruption.

Additional qualifications and information:
- Degree: BS and 6 years, MS and 4 years, or PhD with 0–2 years in a scientific discipline.
- Experience: Background in cGMP, QSR, and ISO-regulated environments, with understanding of compliance for 510K and PMA products.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with root cause analysis, statistical tools (Excel, JMP, etc.), technical writing, and risk management.
- Other: Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively; knowledge of design control and process improvement.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $98,900 – $154,800 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
