Technical Business Analyst

The Technical Business Analyst will be a part of the MiHIN Business Analysts team serving as an integral member of the MiHIN organization; helping to gather information on, evaluate, and report on business requirements and processes.   

The Technical Business Analyst provides data analysis to support, compile, and report key information for operations and business objectives. The role can include light coding, data modeling design and reporting activities.

This is a full-time remote work position where days and hours can vary Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern Time. Occasional travel will be required to meet face to face with key individuals and teams.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Configure FHIR repository to ingest HL7 V2 / V3 data using pre/post processing scripts
• Configure FHIR Viewer based on both internal and external requirements
• Develop and configure items for products and services:
  • Creating / updating page layouts, creating text fields, custom Java coding and HTML/CSS/JavaScript/web design
  • Provide Code Synchronization between environments

• Support ETL platform (Extract, Translate, Load) task
  • Work with cross functional teams to remediate errors
  • Design, update and test task per documentation requirements

• Provide support to internal / external customers via helpdesk tickets maintaining SLA’s
• Translate user and architectural requirements into secure, well-tested implementations
• Participate in the findings and implementing of technology and solutions, understanding of capabilities of application, and design input for project requirements
• Participate in rotation for off hour deployments
• Ensure that Information MiHIN produces, maintains, stores, or transmits remains secure through adherence to MiHIN's Security Policies and Procedures

 

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in technology, Business Administration or related field
• 1-3 years Java scripting
• 1-3 years of working as a business analyst or similar role, Operations Analyst, Project Coordinator or productive team member of larger project
• Experience or knowledge of health information technology, including but not limited to electronic health records (EHR), patient care flow, and hospital computer systems
• Uses SDLC methodology to systematically address business requests for data and provide information to all requesting parties, including documentation requirements, test plans and cases
• Demonstrated exceptional requirements analysis, testing and debugging experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in technology, Business Administration, or related field
• Knowledge in MPI, PL/SQL / SQL / FHIR and /or SAAS
• Experience working with APIs
• Experience web design (CSS, HTML, JavaScript)
• Experience working with AWS or cloud based infrastructure
• Demonstrated exceptional requirements analysis, testing and debugging experience
• User Acceptance Testing coordination experience
• Experience in working with agile/scrum methodology
