Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or typically 10 or more years of related experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Progressive hands-on experience with wireless networks, tactical communications and personal computers
Communication and customer interface skills
Comprehensive understanding of system level maintenance of networks and communications systems
Full understanding of military operations
Stateside/International travel is required up to 20-30% annually (Training, Exercise, and Integration support to end users)
An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Working knowledge of operating military units and logistics
- Familiarity with the network and integration of traditional communications systems and sensors
- Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical trouble shooting techniques.
- Experience with RF, vehicle installation and maintenance procedures
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, Government, or US Military
- Leadership experience in the military or civilian organization
- Thorough knowledge of tactical datalink hardware is highly desirable
- Direct experience with United States Air Force Air Mobility Command is highly desirable.
- Current Security+ certificate is desirable
- Current Network+ certificate is desirable
