Key Role:

Grow your career at Booz Allen as a Senior Subcontracts Manager for the Digital Battlespace Platform through challenging and fulfilling opportunities in the Subcontracts organization. Utilize our world class learning and development programs while building meaningful relationships with executive leadership, a diverse team of procurement professionals, a large supply base, program teams, and other cross functional internal partners. Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals delivering full life cycle support for the Digital Battlespace Platform market and clients. Develop and lead your team’s operational performance with a focus on implementing a strategic vision, growing capabilities and offerings, implementing industry trends and best practices, and meeting business objectives and strategies. Provide counsel to executive leadership on procurement strategy, anticipate business needs, and develop practical solutions with agility, and produce actionable guidance on contractual matters, including contract types, regulatory and corporate policy compliance requirements, and risk management and mitigation.   

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Federal procurement or subcontract management, including overseeing large and complex proposals, supplier selection and negotiations, and subcontracts administration to support U.S. government programs

• 5+ years of experience directly managing a diverse staff

• Experience serving as a business advisor or key functional integrator, including aligning people, processes, and systems to ensure quality support to the account and government clients

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive, business-oriented solutions to challenging problems

• Knowledge of FAR and agency supplements

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• Bachelor's degree

• Possession of excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills

• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

• Possession of excellent customer relationship development and management skills with internal customers
