Are you ready to step into a dynamic role, one where you'll be instrumental in delivering top tier underwriting solutions for IAG's business while cultivating robust relationships with key stakeholders? If so, we have an exceptional opportunity awaiting you. 

  

Your role holds paramount importance as you will be tasked with providing high-quality underwriting solutions through referral underwriting for IAG Agency business. You will be at the forefront of delivering intricate underwriting solutions to the Agency business, while simultaneously fostering highly productive relationships with key Agency stakeholders. Your experience and confidence will be crucial in providing coaching both internally and externally to our partners who submit referrals. 

  

Success in this position hinges greatly on your ability to prioritize relationships. We've found that robust engagement in these interactions yields optimal results. 

  

You'll be joining a close-knit team, where a willingness to assist and collaborate is highly valued. This position is being offered as a permanent full-time opportunity and is open to any IAG office locations in New Zealand, with a preference for Auckland.

• Minimum 8 years underwriting experience 

• Experience and commitment to providing superior customer service to all internal and external stakeholders. 

• High communication and negotiation skills  

• Strong collaboration skills 

• Has technical specialist knowledge of underwriting principles, pricing, product wordings and coverage
