The Quality Assurance Engineer prepares, implements, and maintains the quality control procedures, ensuring that operations are controlled and quality performance meets or exceeds targeted levels. The position is responsible for the incoming and outgoing inspections, and internal and external corrective actions. The Quality Assurance Engineer conducts and reports customer failure analysis and technical communication with customers.

What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)
- Monitor and process corrective actions, evaluate the effectiveness, and recommend corrective actions or continuation.
- Failure analysis and reporting for internal and external failures. Develop sampling procedures, designs, and forms for evaluating as well as reporting quality and reliability data.
- Implement, monitor, and maintain quality control procedures while maintaining compliance with company quality documentation such as quality manuals and quality procedures. Propose any improvements deemed necessary to existing QA documentation and procedures.
- React to quality indicators and summarize data for the purpose of driving continuous improvement.
- Engage and assist in annual IATF 16949 audit activities.
Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and report customer corrective actions.
- Conduct inspections of damaged shipments received at the warehouse.
- Assist the warehouse staff with logistic quality improvements.
- Conduct Internal audits of Murata Electronics functional departments.
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in the engineering field (i.e. Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering).
- Applicable work experience with knowledge of the manufacturing process.
- Ability to learn operating electrical and analysis equipment (i.e., LCR meter, IR meter, soldering equipment, DPA equipment, photomicroscope).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications with the ability to organize, take notes, and manage MS Teams meetings with domestic and international team members.
