Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as a Stinger Missile Program Manager, in Short Range Air Defense (SRAD), who is ready to take on a new challenge with a high degree of responsibility in a growing and evolving business environment.
The Stinger Portfolio is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the Stinger Missile Program Manager Lead. This role offers an opportunity to support the initiatives in change management, transformation, and focus on execution into a high-performing, results-driven program with a significant backlog, while fostering innovation in programmatic execution. This role is responsible for the successful program and flawless execution of over $300M annually, with the next year’s intention of near $500M annual sales. Additionally, this role owns the customer relationship and drives cost, schedule, and performance for the missile bundles on Stinger. The Stinger Missile Program manager will lead and develop a team of Program Leads responsible for the execution management of the Stinger Production, Engineering Services and Depot programs. This role reports to the Stinger Director.
This position is an onsite role, located in Tucson, AZ

What You Will Do
- Manage multiple Stinger production programs.
- Accountable for Stinger missile production programs as well as manage team of PMs
- Drive team accountability while promoting a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering professional growth, mentorship, and talent development.
- Own the customer interface for your programs, fostering a collaborative "One Team" culture with the customer and ensuring exemplary standards of service and value proposition.
- Effectively manage financial controls (EVMS), Risk and Opportunity and RLPM to drive execution excellence, process and consistency across programs
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging RLPM and CORE
- Deliver projects on time and on schedule through leadership of cross-matrixed teams
- Establish, drive, and maintain key programmatic metrics, define milestones and critical path, monitor adherence to program budgets and schedules, and direct work to achieve these metrics
- Develop and present the program Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and financial forecasts outlook and commits to specific financial goals and obligations
- Accountable for program EACs, PMRs and business forecasting reviews.
- Interface with multiple internal and geographically dispersed team members, ensuring consistent and effective communication.
- Drive and support growth of Stinger Missile portfolio through obsolescence management and investment recommendations for internally and externally
- Lead multiple internal and geographically dispersed team members, ensuring consistent and effective communication to drive programs and issues to resolution.
- Ability to travel 25% of the time as needed
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 12 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and minimum 10 years of experience is required
- Experience in Program Management and Risk & Opportunity Measures
- Experience with production programs
