Family Birth Center
Currently, all nurses on 3 North (Family birth Center) are training in all areas of the unit including: L&D, Mother Baby, and Antepartum. However, in this position your home unit will be (Mother-Baby). Under the direction of a Clinical Nurse, provides direct patient care by administering medications and specific treatments to patients within the framework of the established standards, contributes to the assessment of the health and status of patients.
Specifications:
1. Education: Minimum education of a High School Diploma or GED is required. Completion of a state approved Technical School of Licensed Practical Nursing
2. Experience: Twelve months or more of medical-surgical background and physician office nursing experience is preferred. Computer knowledge and skills is required.
3. Certification/License/Registration: Must hold a current license with the State Board of Licensed Practical Nursing. Current CPR.
