What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5–7 years in a manufacturing or production environment.
- 5+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Demonstrated success in managing schedules, meeting On Time Performance (OTP) goals, and optimizing labor and inventory.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies (highly desirable).
- Proficient in production management software, ERP systems, and workflow optimization tools.
- Strong leadership to train, direct, and motivate a diverse team.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment focused on continuous improvement.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
What You'll Do:
- Train, mentor, and manage production staff to meet goals.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks to keep production efficient.
- Oversee pallet repair to meet customer specifications.
- Maintain OSHA and company safety standards at all times.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback or corrective actions as needed.
- Implement and adjust plans to meet targets.
- Track performance data and drive continuous improvements.
- Manage materials, tools, and equipment to prevent shortages.
- Communicate with teams to streamline operations.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all processes meet company and regulatory standards.
