Description
The Department of Pathology at the Yale School of Medicine is seeking two academically oriented, board-certified pathologists. Appointment and salary will depend upon level of expertise and accomplishments. The successful candidates will participate in the service responsibilities of diagnostic practice; contribute to medical student, resident, and fellow teaching; and develop an academic program reflective of their interests. The department will provide resources to support the program development.
The Department serves Yale New Haven Hospital and Bridgeport Hospital, major teaching and referral centers in southern Connecticut, and a robust outreach program providing consultative services to regional practitioners and beyond.
Southern Connecticut offers beautiful shorelines, affordable housing, excellent schools, numerous recreational opportunities, and easy access to New York, Boston, Newport, Cape Cod, and the ski slopes of New England.
Qualifications
A record of clinical excellence in diagnostic pathology is required. Candidates must be board certified in anatomic pathology or anatomic and clinical pathology; subspecialty training experience and previous signout experience is preferred.
