About the role

The JPWMM Workplace strategies team supports the firm-wide initiative to launch a new JPM Workplace business.

As the Product Delivery Associate on the Workplace Strategies team, are a core member of the team, you will draw on your strengths and processes to manage business and technology projects that typically span multiple lines of business and have firm-wide implications. You'll lead these projects from initiation through implementation all the way to launch, including: establishing requirements, priorities and deadlines; ensuring that relevant risk, regulatory, control, compliance and architecture requirements are in place; and driving product vision & strategy (including roadmaps, OKRs, and business cases) to ensure pre & post-release activities are completed within time and budget expectations . 

The team is charged with creating a fully integrated, elegant, and seamless end-to-end experience.  This self-starter will be responsible for driving the vision of select client journeys forward, regular alignment and collaboration with key stakeholders, reporting progress and escalating risks through exec-level reporting. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage transition from current to future state
  • Work cross-functionally with product owners, legal, risk/controls, operations, and technology
  • Work with management and stakeholders to define objectives and key results that align product roadmap to strategic goals
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies
  • Review your assigned product’s Jira’s and determine adherence to applicable controls and standards. 
  • Partner with assigned products to ensure an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation from demand management to sprint planning
  • Solve product related problems, make decisions and complete trade-off analysis
  • Support the implementation and client roll out of new features and enhancements
  • Extract and retrieve information and data sets to improve upon stakeholder communication, financial management processes, and delivery risk mitigation
  • Promote more effective use of existing tools/processes and agile practices and tools (and eliminates those that are ineffectual)
  • Serve as an intermediary on behalf of your product partners; cut the noise. Focus them on what really matters.
  • Contributes to change management activities across functional partners and documents adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Documents blockers and impediments to aid with dependency management and resource availability
  • Collaborates with the Product Delivery Manager to engage stakeholders and cross-functional partners to manage dependencies and timelines
  • Lead special projects related our team’s goals.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in an analytically-intensive role, such as management consulting, product ownership, technology implementation, or corporate strategy  
  • Knowledge of brokerage industry, including advisors, client service, product, technology, operations and controls
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Pitch Pro presentation skills (independently owning content outline, slide creation, and delivery to senior audiences)
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills using Agile and Scrum principles 
  • Experience working with User Stories, Agile, Sprints, and Jira highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to be an integral team member on large-scale, complex projects
  • Knowledge and experience in business and technical project management standards and methods
