The RSVP Program Manager supports the Director in advancing the goals of the Relationship & Sexual Violence Prevention (RSVP) Program at Prairie View A&M University. This role provides advocacy and support services to student victims of sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking, while also coordinating prevention education, training initiatives, and student volunteer engagement. Additionally, the Program Manager helps manage daily operations, outreach efforts, and data reporting to promote a safe, informed, and responsive campus environment.
This position may pay more than the salary listed above depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct services to victims including advocacy, counseling, information and referral, accompaniment services, and crisis intervention. Be the on- campus housing/academic and student conduct conduit for victims.
Assist with developing and implementing/conducting trainings, workshops and other outreach programs for students, faculty and staff on sexual assault awareness, prevention and intervention.
Work with on and off campus departments/community agencies to ensure that students and concerned parents have service information related to the RSVP program and other resources available for victims.
Collect data and prepare monthly and quarterly reports on RSVP activities.
Oversee sexual assault awareness/prevention social media campaigns and represent the RSVP program on and off campus.
Keep abreast of off campus training opportunities, webinars and seminars that will strengthen the knowledge of RSVP personnel and volunteers as well as changes in local, state, federal law related to sexual assault.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree
Five years of related experience in program management including related supervisory experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Knowledge of accounting, auditing, financial forecasting, and budgeting principles and practices.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field. Experience working in a college counseling center environment.
Licensed in the State of Texas as a licensed professional counselor, a clinical social worker, or a licensed psychologist.
