We are currently recruiting a Senior Manager in Procurement who is looking for an exciting career in an innovative and dynamic work environment.</b><br/>  </p> <p><b>Vestas Technology &amp; Operations &gt; Procurement &gt; HV/Converter</b><br/> Vestas Global Procurement is responsible for all procurement activities within Vestas, including leading cross functional category teams, negotiations and contract management, development of end-2-end cost out initiatives, category strategy development and supplier relationship management. As a senior manager in C&amp;E, you will have people leadership of a very ambitious team with responsibility of managing strategic partners and highly critical suppliers for Vestas within the area of medium and high voltage materials. You will be an integral part of the global management team in Electrical and take part in driving all procurement related initiatives in collaboration with the cross functional Module Ownership Team around C&amp;E.</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Responsibilities</b><br/> Your everyday activities will be characterized by high speed and the requirement to engage in, direct and prioritize between multiple critical projects. Overall expected deliverables include:</p> <ul> <li>Develop the long-term strategic direction and vision for the HV/Converter area.</li> <li>Clear leadership of a team of 4 direct reports with global responsibility (located in Aarhus) as well as matrix leadership of teams in the regions</li> <li>Facilitate personal and professional development of/with each team member.</li> <li>Build a close relationship with key suppliers and value through long-term supplier account management and partnerships</li> <li>Represent the team as an integral part of the Module Ownership Team</li> <li>Build and define the future supply base within C&amp;E in close collaboration with key stakeholders</li> <li>Work closely with the regional matrix organization on the strategy execution and internal align with both C-Level and Modules in relation to strategies and cooperation with suppliers</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Qualifications</b><br/> As a Senior Manager you are expected to show the great example and challenge the organization in our ways of working. Qualifications required in the position:</p> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience with strategic procurement</li> <li>Experience in leading a team</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or Engineering</li> <li>Experience with handling large yearly procurement budgets (+200MEUR)</li> <li>Advanced IT skills (proficient with Microsoft Office Package, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)</li> <li>Proven record of strong stakeholder management skills incl. experience with communication. As the category has a high attention among senior management, world class stakeholder management skills are required</li> <li>Fluency in English</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Competencies</b><br/> You have a motivation that is second to none and a natural curiosity.
