Job Posting Details:

The Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Deputy Director of Human Resources. This leadership position will oversee all human resources, labor relations, and administrative services programs within the Agency. The Deputy Director will also be responsible for developing and implementing statewide policies, procedures, and guidelines to optimize the Agency’s human resources operations while ensuring full compliance with relevant state and federal laws, the Personnel Code, Personnel Rules, and all applicable collective bargaining agreements.

In this role, the Deputy Director will act as a key spokesperson for the Director and the Agency on matters related to human resources, labor relations, and administrative services.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of human resources initiatives within a large organization, possess strong interpersonal and problem solving skills, demonstrate professionalism, and exhibit effective communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
