Supply Chain Rotational Associate

NORMA Groups’ Supply Chain Rotational program is designed to introduce develop and place high-potential Supply Chain professionals with zero to one year of work experience.

 Program Objective:

To provide SCM foundation and career track for future leaders as managers or innovators for Norma Group. 

 Location:

The assignments are located in Auburn Hills, St. Clair Michigan, Mexico

• Upon successful completion of the program, incumbents are placed into positions within the organization where they can best apply their skills and experiences

Time Frame:

• 5 rotations at 3-6 months each and a total time of 2 years
• Ideally 1 additional international bubble assignment
• Permanent job placement after 2 - 2.5 years, as available and suitable

 

Learning Objectives:

Finance

Participants will gain the skills required to lead and manage critical business and financial initiatives throughout the Supply Chain Department

 

Supply Chain

The Supply Chain Learning Objectives include three areas: Customer Service, Planning/Scheduling and Logistics.  Candidate will learn the internal planning process from customer demand/EDI to the interpretation and application into the production cell along with the relevant KPI’s

Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the outbound goods process in addition to the trad compliance inner workings while helping to streamline the process.

 

Purchasing

Candidate will obtain the necessary skills which are required to work in conjunction with both Plant and Group purchasing teams along with critical KPI’s for both functions

Requirements:

• Recently Graduated from a Bachelors/Masters Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting or similar degree
• Up to 1 year of work/internship experience in the field
• Availability to travel frequently and work at a different site across the US every 3-6 months.
• Eager learner.
• Self-driven, highly motivated, can do attitude.
• Spanish speaker or eager to learn Spanish in parallel with the program.
• Above average Technical aptitude
