The Role
Promote, develop and support both team and organizational agile maturity with a focus on reliably delivering value in the shortest time. Orchestrate team and stakeholder interactions in order to maximize the value created. Perform as servant leader, coach and facilitator to one or more agile teams in employing Agile best practices to efficiently complete work. Mentor teams to employ self-organization, cross-functional accountability, teamwork and iterative progress towards clearly defined and understood goals. Enable effective demand shaping, release planning, and the maintaining of a prioritized work backlog to achieve release goals. Facilitate productivity by coordinating the removal of impediments.
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Agile Coach (Level 4) to accelerate enterprise-wide agility across a hybrid delivery ecosystem that includes Scaled Scrum using SAFe and Kanban at Scale for services. This senior role will guide executives, portfolio leaders, and delivery teams in adopting lean-agile mindsets, modern flow practices, and value-driven operating models. You will be a thought partner and transformation leader, shaping how our organization delivers value at scale.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide enterprise-level Agile coaching to executives, portfolio leaders, release train leadership, service managers, and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Coach organizations using SAFe frameworks, including Lean Portfolio Management, Agile Release Trains, Solution Trains, and team-level Scrum practices.
• Coach service-delivery teams leveraging Kanban at Scale, focusing on flow efficiency, systems thinking, service-level expectations, and work visualization.
• Facilitate enterprise transformation activities: value stream identification, operating-model redesign, governance optimization, and flow-of-value improvements.
• Lead maturity assessments, transformation roadmaps, and multi-year agility strategies.
• Mentor Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters, RTEs, Product Owners, Service Managers, and Kanban Leads.
• Design and deliver training on SAFe, Kanban, lean-agile leadership, modern product management, flow metrics, and continuous improvement.
• Establish capability frameworks for Agile roles and develop coaching frameworks and playbooks.
• Partner closely with senior leaders to ensure alignment between strategic objectives, portfolio investments, and lean governance structures.
• Guide teams in applying lean metrics such as flow time, throughput, WIP mapping, predictability measures, OKRs, and value realization metrics.
• Enhance organizational learning through communities of practice, brown bag sessions, and cross-team mentoring initiatives.
• Model lean-agile leadership behaviors and serve as an advocate for enterprise-wide cultural change.
• Proven experience coaching within a SAFe environment including portfolio, program, and team layers.
• Strong background coaching Kanban systems, particularly in service-delivery or operational environments.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executives and senior leaders through data-driven insights and facilitation.
• Experience leading large-scale agile/lean transformations in complex organizations.
• Deep expertise in systems thinking, lean flow, organizational design, and modern product delivery.
• Strong facilitation skills for strategy workshops, PI Planning events, OKR development, and flow mapping sessions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
