Introduction

Job Mission

The intern will collaborate closely with developers in D&E teams to create software that delivers advanced diagnostic capability and meets customer needs.  The intern will be responsible for designing, coding and testing of key software modules throughout the development cycle. You will have an opportunity to work on software in support of ASML’s world leading e-Beam product line.

Job Description

  • The goal of the internship is for you to learn about working in a corporate setting and to provide your knowledge in solving real world problems in a team environment.
  • This internship is geared towards data analysis and programming :
    • Gathering functional requirements by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
    • Designing and Implementing the software
    • Executing the testing steps to qualify implementation

  • Intern will be required to document and update their progress as well as make an end of summer presentation to the group about what they achieved during their internship.

Education and experience

  • Undergraduate or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a Related Field
  • High proficiency in C#, C++ and Python is essential
  • Experience with data science technologies
  • Familiarity with OpenTelemetry tools
  • Ability to translate requirements, statistically analyze data, and effectively report problems and solutions through written and graphical formats
  • Familiarity with OOD principles

  • This position is located on-site in San Jose, CA.  It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.
  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
