What You Will Do

  • Execute processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement goals, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and program execution. Responsible for all aspects of PO placement and delivery assurance.

  • Analyze and monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and ensures product is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and at the right cost. Approves and qualifies vendors to fulfill site needs, responds to issues or problems impacting daily tasks.

  • Develop and follow existing procedures, processes, and work instructions. Coach, mentor, and willing to provide technical guidance to colleagues.

  • May perform delivery assurance responsibilities, support project management activities, and reviews and maintain KPI's for the team members.

  • Assist in identifying recurring inventory and procurement problems that impact the ability to meet site goals & objectives and develop strategies / recommendations for corrective actions using CORE tools.

  • Daily interactions with site materials & operations management team to ensure suitable material flow to support site deliverables.

  • Attend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training required based on business needs.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Purchasing, Planning, Inventory Management and/or Supplier Management.

  • U.S. citizenship is required for this position; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access and handle sensitive data required to support our government and military programs.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Bachelor’s degree STEM field.

  • Direct buyer-level or purchasing experience.

  • Knowledge of Aerospace manufacturing or Aftermarket (MRO) industry.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and SAP Procurement or similar procurement system.

  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma).

  • Organizational and project management skills; PMP certification preferred.

  • Ability to communicate and work across all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated issue resolution skills (both vendor- and customer-facing).

  • Knowledge of international trade compliance regulations related to material logistics.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
