Blackstone Perpetual Finance – SEC Reporting Senior Vice President - Retail Funds
•    Responsible for the preparation and review of the 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, and other recurring SEC filings for multiple Blackstone registrants
•    Ensure the financial results are appropriately recorded in the fund’s financial statements and SEC filings include all required financial disclosures and footnotes

•    Ensure new transactions are appropriately disclosed in the 10-Ks and 10-Qs

•    Manage the business relationships and ongoing communications with internal and external auditors 

•    Oversee SOX compliance program

•    Responsible for all required fund regulatory reporting
•    Coordinate with technology teams to improve automation of manual processes
•    Assist with ad hoc analysis and projects
•    Execute team’s strategic plan
•    Generate creative solutions to improve processes
•    Managing and mentoring junior staff
Qualifications:
•    BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance is required
•    CPA license is required
•    15+ years of mixed public/private accounting experience
•    Experience with SEC reporting and public companies is required. Public company disclosure, reporting and auditing technical knowledge (GAAP, SEC, PCAOB, GAAS) is required; 40 Act Funds is preferred
•    Experience with open-ended funds and/or private equity industry is preferred
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    Thrives in a team-based environment

•    Detail oriented and possess strong work ethic; multi-tasks and executes on a wide range of assignments; strong time management skills

Expected annual base salary range:

$200,000 - $275,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
