Capital One is seeking a strong and experienced Manager (Program Management) to support the communication and reporting for key Cyber solutions in a cloud first technology environment. A strong candidate will have a proven track record of communicating, reporting, and managing solutions across multiple stakeholder groups including Cyber and Tech executives. They will develop and oversee processes and tools to clearly identify, document, and report key risk, issues, and decisions impacting the Capital One’s environment. They will thrive in working across teams and be an expert in dealing with ambiguity, focusing on Integration activities within the Cyber organization. 

Security is essential to what we do at Capital One, from protecting our customers to our associates. Capital One is hiring a Cyber Security professional to join the Integration Management Office (IMO) team and implement and drive the service area’s day-to-day management processes and procedures.

What You’ll Own: 

• You will develop program and process strategies for moderate to large complex cross-departmental efforts 

• You will focus on projects that are part of our key priorities of the technology organization 

• You will build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional key stakeholders to understand processes and communicate results

• Manage multiple Cyber Domain specific teams in support of the Integration Program

• You will creatively solve problems and think outside of the box to help remove barriers and challenges

• Identify ways to improve and streamline processes

• Create executive-ready presentations and materials

• Manage special projects autonomously and through partnership with cross functional teams
   

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

• At least 4 years of experience in Project or Program Management 

• At least 2 years of experience in information technology
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree 

• 6+ years of experience in Program Management

• 2+ years of experience working in consulting or a service-oriented organization  

• 2+ years of project management experience leading cross functional projects or programs in Cyber 

• 2+ years of experience in Agile delivery using Jira and Confluence

• 2+ years of experience working with cloud technologies

• 2+ years of experience working in the Financial Services industry

• 1+ years of experience supporting an acquisition or participating in an integration program

• Project Management (PMP) or Program Management (PgMP) certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $146,100 - $166,700 for Manager, Project Management
