About the Role

As a Merchant Operations Assistant, you will support the operational execution of key merchant workflows across onboarding, governance, and strategic initiatives. This role focuses on process management, issue tracking, and cross-functional coordination to unblock execution and improve operational outcomes at scale. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple workflows in a fast-paced environment.



Responsibilities

- Support the recruitment and onboarding of key merchants by reaching out via email and phone using provided leads, assisting Account Managers in communicating TikTok Shop onboarding requirements, tracking onboarding progress, and helping resolve workflow bottlenecks.

- Follow up on key merchant Governance & Experience (GNE) matters by collecting and clarifying merchant issues, coordinating with GNE teams and Account Managers to identify root causes, define solutions, and support merchants in preparing appeal materials and corrective action reports.

- Assist in key merchant strategic initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams including Merchant, Product, Marketing, and Content to gather and consolidate project requirements. Support Account Managers on complex initiatives and independently execute routine operational tasks, such as priority SKU submissions and merchant reporting in line with platform policies.

- Identify, summarize, and consolidate recurring process, product, and data issues observed during onboarding, GNE case handling, and project execution, and partner with relevant teams to drive continuous operational improvements.
