GSOC Security Operator – Full Time

Location: Boulder, CO
Rate: $25.00/HR
GSOC operators are responsible for monitoring security systems, responding to alerts, and coordinating security responses. They play a vital role in safeguarding an organization's assets and personnel by overseeing surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems. When alerts are triggered, operators assess the situation and take appropriate action, which may involve dispatching security personnel, contacting emergency services, or notifying stakeholders. Additionally, GVOP operators provide customer support by answering questions and resolving security-related issues.
What Your Day May Look Like:
- Real-time alarm system monitoring, responding in a timely manner.
- Monitors CCTV during emergencies or alarm clearing.
- Answers routine and emergency calls, including duress alarms, fire alarms, and door alarms.
- Escalates to GSOC [FTES] life safety incidents, such as medical emergencies, natural disasters, and safety incidents.
- Dispatches field security to details such as unlocks or escorts.
- Triages GUTS tickets to ensure the requestor is connected to the correct department or team.
- Answers calls to ensure the caller is connected to the correct department or team.
- Responds to emails with low to medium priority.
- Documents a timeline and adds pictures to Vantage.
- Creates and provides a narrative to Symmetry reports.
- Creates GUTS, Buginizer or Skyvine tickets for issues.
- Documents all their phone call on GUTS for logging purposes.

Position Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- Standard computer / technology skills needed.
- Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
- Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
