Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Digital Ecosystem Chief Engineer. This position is located in Roy, UT. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You’ll Get To Do
- The Sentinel Digital Ecosystem Segment Lead Chief Engineer is technical authority, owning the technical baseline for the Digital Ecosystem Segment. Responsibilities include:
- Digital Engineering Review Board (DERB) Chair
- Digital Ecosystem Board member for Technical Review Board (TRB)
- Management of the Digital Ecosystem Technical Baseline
- Systems architect for the Digital Ecosystem Segment
- Lead for technical meetings with external stakeholders including:
- Government
- Sentinel Program Segments
- Northrop Grumman CIO/DTO
- Developing technical talent and fosters the development of strong teams
- Drives technical execution and solves complex problems
- Provides leadership in digital transformation in relation to program execution, champions culture change, and mentors junior engineers.
- Proactively interfaces with Sentinel segments, as well as to other organizations within SDS Engineering, enhancing collaboration to ensure excellent program performance and technology advancement.
- Leads/assists with various technical studies supporting long-term growth for Sentinel Digital Ecosystem.
- Have exemplar systems engineering and/or model-based engineering experience.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Job Qualifications:
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 14 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of related experience, or PhD with 10 years of experience.
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years and must have the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Able to lead a diverse team while cultivating a positive work environment.
Acts independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development, implementation, deployment, and support of complex systems.
