JOB SUMMARY: This position performs contract management activities and is an excellent fit for self-motivated critical thinkers. If you enjoy working with procurement documents and contracts, this may be the position for you. Your duties would include:
- Negotiating contracts
- Developing procurement documents and contracts
- Initiating contract amendments, extensions, and renewals
- Developing and implementing contract monitoring plans
- Communicating monitoring results internally and to the vendor
- Reviewing and Processing invoices
- Monitoring, maintaining and reconciling contract budgets.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- At least two years of contract management experience with any State of Florida Government Agency.
- Working knowledge and experience using Microsoft applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
PREFERENCES:
- Currently a Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) or held a FCCM certificate within the last five years.
- Working knowledge and experience using MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) applications (i.e., AOD- NextGen, Buyer, Vendor Information Portal, etc.).
- Formal and informal procurement experience with any State of Florida Government Agency.
SPECIAL NOTES:
- This position is part-time telework eligible after training and an acceptable level of proficiency is reached
- Two positions will be filled from this advertisement.
- The alternative screening criteria (ASC) tool as administratively approved will be utilized to determine applicants to be interviewed.
SALARY: $44,060.16 - $61,654.20
