Position Overview Restore and Rise Rehabilitation Center is actively seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Waldwick, New Jersey. Work Environment The Physical Therapist will work onsite within our vibrant rehabilitation center. You will share a collaborative workspace with fellow clinicians who are focused on advanced rehabilitation protocols and patient-centered care. The center is well-equipped with modern therapy equipment and treatment spaces that are conducive to both individual and group therapy sessions, allowing for innovative approaches to patient treatment. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions to establish accurate diagnoses and treatment plans tailored to individual capabilities. Implement and monitor rehabilitation protocols that incorporate a variety of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities aimed at optimizing recovery. Educate patients and their families on exercise programs for rehabilitation at home, ensuring they develop independence and confidence in their abilities. Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress using electronic medical records (EMR), specifically leveraging WebPT to track outcomes and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to discuss patient cases and coordinate comprehensive care that reflects our commitment to excellence. Patient Population / Client Focus Our facility serves a diverse population, primarily focusing on adults with orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with patients ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to seniors seeking to regain mobility after surgery. This broad spectrum of client profiles allows for a rich and varied case load, providing opportunities for personal and professional development within your practice. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, demonstrating your commitment and capability in delivering proficient therapy. A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, showcasing your skills in recovery techniques and patient education. Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline patient documentation and reporting processes. Preferred Experience Experience with various therapeutic techniques such as dry needling, manual therapy, and advanced exercise programs. Certification in specialized areas of physical therapy, providing added value to the treatment offered to our patients. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients to enhance their therapy experience. Compensation and Benefits This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
