Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate steel erection projects from start to finish.
- Lead a team of ironworkers and welders, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Conduct quality control inspections on completed work.
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to meet deadlines.
- Train and mentor junior staff in best practices and techniques.
- Maintain tools and equipment in optimal working condition.
- Proven experience as a foreman, ironworker, or welder in the construction industry.
- Valid welding certification and relevant licenses.
- Strong knowledge of steel erection techniques and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to upholding a safe and productive work environment.
