About the Role:Join Central Texas Steel Erectors as a Steel Erect Foreman and Ironworker/Welder in Portland, TX! This exciting opportunity allows you to lead a dedicated team in the construction of high-quality steel structures while ensuring safety and efficiency on the job site.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate steel erection projects from start to finish.
• Lead a team of ironworkers and welders, providing guidance and support.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Conduct quality control inspections on completed work.
• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to meet deadlines.
• Train and mentor junior staff in best practices and techniques.
• Maintain tools and equipment in optimal working condition.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a foreman, ironworker, or welder in the construction industry.
• Valid welding certification and relevant licenses.
• Strong knowledge of steel erection techniques and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
