Senior Transformational Change Manager

Job Description

Semikron-Danfoss has an exciting opportunity to join our Team as a Senior Transformational Change Manager. This role will Drive Transformational Change at the Utica Production Site, enable the delivery of a performance step-change across SQDCP dimensions, with particular focus on annual profitability targets, drive an increase in DBS maturity and Continuous Improvement thinking, support the site leadership team.                                                                                                     

Job Responsibilities

• Enable KPI step-change, towards annual strategic objectives, across SQDCP dimensions.
• Create accountabilities (behavior, task, performance) in all teams, Coach towards performance delivery\
• Create, model and coach towards stronger ways of working (continuously improved processes), using DBS method
• Collaborate with DBS Navigators to accelerate a DBS maturity uplift
• At least once per year participate in identifying the improvement potential across all shifts, with the involvement of the local factory team, and updated throughout the year
• Facilitate the creation of the Utica Site Transformation Roadmap
• Facilitate creation of quarterly Tactical Implementation Plans (TIPs) including ensuring clear ownership and accountabilities
• Assist the Plant Manager to deliver the objectives of the roadmap, through the creation of appropriate cascaded progress review mechanisms
• Drive a step change in shop floor management capability
• Visual performance monitoring and response systems, 5S, SW and LSW, change management, escalation systems, improvement idea capture and execution, team communication and engagement, etc
• Coach leaders in their understand and effective use of shop floor systems
• Drive a step-change in RCPS capability, and a disciplined, standard DBS approach towards exception management   Coach teams in solving root causes of performance deviations, and restore performance to targeted levels
• Introduce systems of SQDCP performance target setting, towards annual strategic objectives
• Coach teams in ways of working, enabling teams to reach their set targets
• Drive Kaizen programs, and model excellence in Kaizen execution
• Coach others towards autonomous Kaizen leadership capability
• Facilitate and coach others towards the creation of robust Standard Work systems, ensuring compliance with IATF auditing requirements
• Facilitate and coach others in the creation of Leader Standard Work systems
• Lead site as Plant Manager delegate, when required                                                                                                        

Background & Skills

• Transformational Change and Change Management - at least 15 years demonstrated experience    
• Agile - Experienced Practitioner and Coach
• Experience with Production Management in TS16949 or IATF
• Six Sigma - Master Black Belt
• Lean - Certified expert in TPS or Lean
• Communication skills and senior executive influence
